BATON ROUGE, La. — Louisiana State University is doing its best to recreate a “home” atmosphere for the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Saturday’s game between the two schools was supposed to be played in Columbia, but after torrential flooding left a lot of the state underwater, the decision was made to move it to Death Valley.

On Tuesday, CBS Sports reported South Carolina would not be able to send its own pep band to the game, and so LSU stepped in to help.

The LSU Tiger Marching Band decided it would fill the gap, by learning their rival’s alma matter and fight song for Saturday’s pre-game festivities.

In addition, all of the proceeds from the game will be sent back with the team to help the university.
