OXFORD, Miss. — The Oxford School District confirmed they are cooperating with an ongoing investigation by local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
According to a statement released by the district, an investigation was launched Tuesday April 14 after a student at Oxford Middle School made a verbal threat against the school.
Another student reported the threats to the School Resource Officer.
We don’t know what the student said but are trying to find out.
The district cannot release the identity of any school students involved or details surrounding the law enforcement investigation.
The student involved in the ongoing law enforcement investigation has been disciplined for a separate violation of the Oxford School District Code of Conduct.
