MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Photos and videos show destruction from a strong line of storms sweeping through Arkansas and Tennessee on Wednesday.
WREG crews captured photos and video footage of the aftermath in Selmer, Tennessee, early Thursday morning.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol shared a video of state troopers, McNairy County deputies, Selmer Police, and firefighters searching through the wreckage of a home near Selmer that took a direct hit. They are searching for anyone who might be trapped or hurt.
WREG crews in Slayden, Miss. saw extensive storm damage to homes. Downed trees and power lines littered the area, and roofs were ripped off homes. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Photos were also shared with WREG of the heavy storm damage in Grand Junction, Tenn. Roads are covered in debris and downed trees and buildings were ripped apart. A train was seen lying on its side off the railroad tracks.
A viewer captured footage of a tornado early Wednesday evening in Lake City, Arkansas. WREG tracked the storm into Poinsett County.
“That is incredible,” WREG’s Weather Expert Tyler Eliasen said.
Sheriff Kevin Molder told WREG at 6:30 p.m. that one tornado was spotted around Fisher. Another crossed Highway 1 in Greenfield.
He said there was damage to power lines and trees, but he did not know of structural damage and had not had reports of injuries.
Another viewer sent a video of a tornado in Bay, Arkansas.
Several viewers sent in photos of quarter-sized hail in Fayette County and Collierville.
WREG captured a large tree that fell across Lamar Avenue at Central, snapping power poles.
