(New York, NY) Fortune Magazine has released its influential list of American companies, with Wal-Mart remaining at the top of the pile.
The Fortune 500 was first published in 1955 and ranks the world’s most powerful companies by total revenue.
Rounding out the top five this year are Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Berkshire Hathaway and Apple.
