Walmart has upped its game when it comes to protecting your baby.
The retailer announced this past week it has signed a one-year deal with Evenflo to sell a car seat that would alert the driver when a baby is still buckeled in once the car is turned off, reported the New York Post.
The main purpose of the new technology is to prevent parents from accidentally leaving a child in the back of a car.
According to reports, the car seat is designed with a wireless receiver embedded in the chest strap clip.
When the driver turns the ignition off and the chest clip is still buckled, an alarm will sound reminding the parent of the precious cargo in the back.
The Evenflo Advanced SensorSafe Embrace is now available online and will be in stores by August.
