(Little Rock, AR) The Arkansas Attorney General’s office has a warning for seniors today.

Hang up if someone calls pretending to be your grandchild asking for money!

The Attorney General’s office says it’s gotten lots of reports lately about what’s known as the “grandparents scam.”

It happens in several ways, but most commonly, someone calls and pretends to be the grandchild or a friend and claims to be in dire need of money.

Well, don’t fall for it.

If you’re worried if it’s legitimate, call the grandchild back to double-check.
