Shelby County leaders announced a new sweepstakes which they hope will get more people vaccinated within the next month.
It’s called the Shot For Shot sweepstakes. Everyone who has received a vaccine so far and those who receive one before May 31 are eligible to enter the sweepstakes, with the grand prize winner taking home a brand-new vehicle. The winner will be able to choose a Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Colorado, Nissan Rogue, Nissan Altima or any other vehicle of equal value.
Those interested in entering must show proof of vaccination, must be 18 years or older and a Shelby County resident.
The winner will be selected around June 1.
