(Decatur County, TN) Jason Autry has been charged with first-degree felony murder and especially aggravated kidnapping in connection to the disappearance of Holly Bobo.
The indictments for Autry were returned by a grand jury Tuesday afternoon after a presentation from a TBI Special Agent.
The 39-year-old, who is friends with Zach Adams, will be in court Wednesday.
According to the TBI, there is at least one witness who said they saw Holly Bobo alive with Autry and Adams.
Autry is already behind bars at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution on an aggravated assault conviction.
He is now also being held without bond on the new charges.
TBI Director Mark Gwyn confirmed they have not found the body of Holly Bobo yet, and will continue searching.
“We believe (Holly’s family) deserve to know where their daughter’s body is,” he said.”
TBI believes there are other people with information about the case.
“They should expect us to be on their doorstep very soon,” Gwyn said.
Tuesday morning, Adams, who is charged with felony first degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping in the Bobo case, was in court.
Aggravated assault charges against Adams from a separate case were dropped when the victim refused to testify.
Adams entered a not guilty plea to the Bobo charges, and is being held in the Chester County jail without bond.
It’s been three years since Holly Bobo disappeared.
It was April 13, 2011, when her brother told authorities he saw Bobo following a man in hunting clothes into the woods near the family home in Darden.
Police and family searched but were unable to find her.
Adams has a violent past and some say they are not surprised he was arrested.
