Wednesday update on Noah Chamberlin search

Noah Chamberlin

PINSON, Tenn. — More than 100 trained law enforcement officers are searching for 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin on Wednesday.

Fire departments taking part in the search include Knoxville, Carroll County and Arlington.

The Tennessee Department of Corrections is assisting, using agents trained to find inmates who run away.

A representative from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is also on scene.

Officials have added two portable bathroom areas in the search site.

Fields are wet from overnight weather, making it harder for searchers to get around. Vehicles can’t park in the search area because it is too muddy.

This is the seventh day in the search for Noah; he was first reported missing the afternoon of Jan. 14. He was with his grandmother and sister in the woods behind his home when his grandmother lost sight of him.
