MEMPHIS, Tenn. — High winds will blow through the entire WREG viewing area Sunday.
The National Weather Service posted a wind advisory for counties throughout the Mid-South from until 12 a.m. Monday.
Some gusts reached speeds of about 50 miles per hour.
Take any loose items inside, as they are at risk to fall victim to the strong winds. Some trees may fall, and high-profile vehicles will be difficult to drive.
The NWS has reported the railroad gate at the A.W. Willis bridge suffered wind damage. There is also a tree down on Highway 7 in Grenada, Mississippi, on the Grenada-Yalobusha county line.
