MEMPHIS, Tenn. — At a hearing Friday, a witness said he saw Tremaine Wilbourn shoot and kill Memphis police officer Sean Bolton.
The probable cause hearing was held to decide whether there is enough evidence to hold Wilbourn.
The same witness who identified Wilbourn also said they heard what they estimated to be nine gun shots then saw Bolton laying face down in a neighbor’s yard.
The same witness said they used the officer’s radio to call for help.
Another witness said they thought they heard six shots.
The judge decided there was enough evidence to hold Wilbourn for first-degree murder.
