(Brighton, TN) A Tipton County woman is in jail accused in the shooting death of her husband.

It happened early Sunday morning at a house on Highway 14 South in Brighton.

When deputies arrived, 43-year-old Angela Brewer told them she accidentally shot her husband William.

Brewer is charged with Reckless Homicide and Aggravated Assault Resulting in Death.

She’s being held without bond until her arraignment in Tipton County later this week.
