CROCKET COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman has been arrested for a shooting that happened Aug. 17 in Friendship.
Katie Vaile, 26, of Bells is charged with attempted murder.
The victim, 29-year-old Jeffrey Long, was shot in his house in the 7400 block of Highway 189.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Marshals helped the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department on the case.
Agents and marshals found Vaile at a motel in Brownsville and took her into custody.
She is in the Crockett County Jail with a $550,000 bond.
