MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Whitehaven woman is facing several charges in connection with a shooting at a Whitehaven apartment complex.
19-year-old Dynasty Stewart is charged with attempted first degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence.
Police say she shot a man twice at the Peppertree Apartments Tuesday morning then tried to cover up the crime.
According to the affidavit, Stewart admitted that she and two men had planned to rob the victim — after he agreed to come over to her apartment to smoke marijuana and pay for sex.
Police say Stewart also admitted to removing shell casings from the scene.
Police say the victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center — where he underwent surgery and is listed in critical condition.
