MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman faces murder charges after a man was shot and killed Friday night in the 6300 block of Uncle Remus Road.

Police were called to the shooting at about 9:45 p.m. and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Police did not identify the victim but said he was a 34-year-old man.

Investigators revealed the man was in a physical confrontation with three woman, one of whom police said shot the victim.

The suspects drove away, but officers stopped them and took them into custody.

Prosecutors charged 22-year-old Nicole Houston with second-degree murder.

The other women were released without charge, police said.
