Woman, dog attacked and threatened in Raleigh

RALEIGH, Tenn. –A Raleigh woman was walking her dog when she got the scare of her life after being attacked by four teenagers who threatened to kill her dog.

Her bruises were still surfacing on Friday when WREG spoke with her.

You can’t miss her black eye or the the scratches all over her body.

“They were like ‘get the dog. We’re gonna get it and kill it’,” she said.

The victim, who did not want to be fully identified, told WREG she was outside walking with her boyfriend and dog when a group of four young people walked by.

That’s when her dog Chuckie started barking.

She said the kids made a few threats and then attacked right in their friend’s front yard near Rolling Meadows and Gatewood.

“I remember a man punching me in the back of the head. I don’t remember how I got this gash but I believe it’s from a bottle,” she said.

She eventually had to go to the hospital, and her doctors called police.

She already struggles with anxiety, and this fight made it worse.

“I used to walk down the street to go shopping, now I get upset seeing a car drive by,” she told us.

Her sister,Marry Sutton was furious that this happened to her sister.

She blamed the kids parents for raising them to think this was okay.

“I’m going to watch my back even more so than I used to,” she said.

Meanwhile the family said they hoped police caught these kids before they did this to someone else.
