MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police say a woman was shot in the Cherokee area Friday evening.
Officers found the victim on Sharpe Avenue near Cherokee Boulevard. Police say the shooting happened just after 6:30 PM.
The woman went to the hospital in critical condition. Police say no suspect information was given.
