A Brand New Way to Watch WREG News Channel 3
You can now watch WREG News Channel 3’s local programming and special community coverage on your smart TV. It’s available now for free download and install for Roku TV, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV streaming platforms and TVs (coming soon to Samsung).
The WREG+ TV app offers live-streaming newscasts, detailed weather forecasts, exclusive WREG investigations, Live at 9 (Memphis’ lifestyle show), Knowledge Bowl, and special events and hours of local and original video on demand.
Getting WREG+ on your TV or Streaming Device
Streaming TV channels are also called apps and they need to be downloaded and installed onto your smart TV or streaming device such as an auxiliary input attached Roku stick, Amazon Fire TV stick, etc. Below are instructions on how to get WREG+ added to watch free anytime.
Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV stick:
- From your home screen, select the magnifying glass to search, and scroll down to access the search bar
- Type in “WREG” and select it from the search options
- Select the WREG+ app from the results
- Click on “Download”
- Click on “Open” and accept the Terms of Use to start watching
To move the app:
- From the home screen, navigate to “Your Apps and Channels”, second icon from the right
- Locate the WREG+ app and press the option button on your remote
- Move the app to your desired location and press “Select” to save

- From your home screen, click on “Search”
- Type in “WREG”
- Select “WREG+” under “Apps” in the results
- Click “Add app” to download

- Select “Move app to top” to make it easier to access

- Choose “Edit Home Screen” and drag the app to your desired location and press select to make it easier to find
