WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — An 18-year-old woman was killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer Wednesday night, West Memphis Police say.
Police say Javata Devita Murray of West Memphis was going north in a 2005 Pontiac on Village Drive around 5:50 p.m. when the crash happened.
The Pontiac attempted to turn right onto Rainer Road in front of a tractor-trailer that was going east. Murray was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to a Memphis hospital.
Police said Thursday no charges have been filed.
