City Council elections going to a runoff

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Election Day may be over, but some voters will have to return to the polls for runoff elections.

The following City Council positions have been decided:

The position of City Court clerk has also been decided; Kay Spalding Robilio received 26 percent of the vote, just edging out Wanda Halbert at 25 percent.

In several City Council District races, a candidate did not get the required 50 percent, meaning a runoff is needed to decide the winner.
