You wanted to see both sides face off, in an effort to win your vote.
Here to make the case for the half percent sales tax increase, Shelby County Commissioner Steve Mulroy, Kenya Bradshaw with “Stand for Children”, she also served on the Transition Planning Commission for the Unified School District, and Memphis City Councilman Shea Flinn.
Those against the tax increase are City Councilman Jim Strickland, County Commissioner Heidi Shafer, and Dr. Kenneth Whalum, Jr., a member of the Unified School Board.
