(Menlo Park, CA) Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg called President Obama to express his frustration about the government’s spying and hacking programs.

The two reportedly talked Thursday.

Zuckerberg also posted a message on Facebook saying quote “when our engineers work tirelessly to improve security, we imagine we’re protecting you against criminals, not our own government.”

The news comes after the latest reports reveal that the NSA has been spying on Internet users.

Zuckerberg said he called President Obama to express his frustration, but said he’s not holding out hope for a quick change.
