MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Veteran state lawmaker Curry Todd is out of the house.

He was soundly defeated in Thursday’s primary.

The election was two days after he was arrested for taking the yards signs of his opponent Mark Lovell, who now will replace him in the legislature.

It was one of many political races decided this week.
