MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Former U.S. attorney David Kustoff emerged from a field of 13 Republican candidates to win the GOP nomination for the 8th District congressional seat.

And because the district is heavily Republican, Kustoff is now a sure bet to replace Rep. Stephen Fincher in January.
