Trent Kelly hopes to soon be on a plane headed to Washington, D.C. as the newest Congressman for North Mississippi.
Out of 13 candidates, Kelly was on of two top vote getters in a special election to replace the late Alan Nunnelee.
The runoff is June 2.
Kelly is a Republican, war veteran and District Attorney from the Tupelo area.
