It’s an honor bestowed on very few people, and today, we have a National Medal of Arts Recipient right here on Live at 9. President Barack Obama presented world-renowned pianist André Watts with the medal last year, for his five-decades of Excellence in the Arts. André is in Memphis for the Iris Orchestra’s Season Finale, he joins us with the Conductor of the Iris Orchestra, Michael Stern.
