Scott Tashie is here to make it a little easier with some breakfast smoothies that are not only quick to make, but good for your family too!

Scott is the owner of both I Love Juice Bar and Cosmic Coconut!

He demonstrated two fast morning smoothies for a healthy start.

 

Recipe One: Banana Greens – creates a 16oz serving

  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 2 dashes of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond or coconut milk

Blend and enjoy!

 

 

Recipe Two: Back to School – creates a 16oz serving

  • ½ cup of apple juice
  • ½ cup of almond or rice milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of berries – blueberries, strawberries, mixed – any will work
  • 1 tablespoon of almond or sunflower butter

Blend and enjoy!
