Construction begins next month on a project to connect Downtown Memphis to West Memphis, Arkansas. The “Main Street to Main Street” project would create new walking and biking paths across the I-55 Bridge over the Mississippi River. And although construction hasn’t even begun, the cost is already seven million dollars more than we first thought. Paul Morris is with the Downtown Memphis Commission.
