Just this week, Memphis was named in another list of best vacation destinations.
In an article about the five best family vacations that don’t involve Disney, The New York Times listed Memphis as a stop on an Amtrak train trip.
It comes after Time listed Memphis as number three on its list of best U.S. travel destinations for 2016.
Roger Dow is visiting Memphis himself this week as president of the U.S. Tourism Association. He’s here with Kevin Kane, who heads up the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
