People in Memphis are looking for some “Common Ground” with those, from different backgrounds.
They’re trying to improve race relations in a city with a rocky history.
And they want everyone to know that talking about race, doesn’t make you racist, any more than talking about rape, makes you a rapist.
DeJuan Hendricks and Linda Serino are taking part in the Common Ground conversations hosted by the YWCA.
