The Memphis Police Department’s Community Outreach Program is making an impact too.
More than 600 young people turned up to a job fair sponsored by police this week.
Many of them told WREG programs like this do help lead them in the right direction.
It not only got Francisco Franklin a job, but also a new mentor in Lt. Steve Ware.
