Six children suffered electric shock on an amusement park ride in Connecticut late yesterday afternoon.

Everyone went to the hospital with minor injuries including one child, with burns on his hands.

It comes after a series of amusement park accidents last week.

Ten-year-old Kayla Reynolds fell from a Ferris Wheel in East Tennessee last week.

She was one of three girls injured, when the cart they were riding in tipped over, dumping them out.

The three fell about forty feet!

Kayla has a broken arm, but her six-year-old sister suffered a traumatic brain injury.

A 16-year-old friend was also hurt.

A few days later, a young boy fell off a roller coaster in Pennsylvania.

Both of those accidents happened the same week a ten-year-old boy was decapitated, while riding the World’s Tallest Water Slide in Kansas City.

Although accidents like these rarely happen, it brings ride safety to the spotlight.

Mark Lovell and Matt Snider from the Delta Fair and Music Festival are here to address those concerns with the fair here just over two weeks away now!
