Decisions at City Council that affect you

Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland has put an indefinite delay on rolling out body cameras to Memphis Police Officers.

He, District Attorney General Amy Weirich and Police Director Toney Armstrong made that announcement Friday.

Weirich said her office alone will need $1 million and 15 new employees to handle all the video, but no one seems to know where that money will come from.

City Council vice-chair Edmund Ford is here with Council member Patrice Robinson to talk about it on Live at 9.
