Friends, family and the community will come together to remember Reverend Samuel “Billy” Kyles on Thursday.
Visitation for the Civil Rights icon will be tonight from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the National Civil Rights Museum.
Another visitation will be held Friday at the Mason Temple.
The funeral will be Saturday at Monumental Baptist Church.
The 81-year-old, who died last week, served as the Pastor at Monumental for 55 years.
Kyles was also a witness to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
