Domestic violence awareness month begins this Saturday, Oct. 1.

The Family Safety Center is kicking things off with “Speak out Sunday” the very next day, Oct. 2.

Jordan Moore from the Family Safety Center is here with Pastor Darnell Gooch.

His church, the Cathedral of Praise, is one of several Memphis churches partnering with the center to discuss domestic violence, healthy relationships and spiritual abuse.
