Local Boston Marathon runner gears up for first race since the bomber’s conviction

Wednesday the city of Boston honored the victims and survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing with a day of service called One Boston Day.

Everyone was asked to perform one act of kindness to help turn a very sad day into a positive one.

It’s been exactly two years ago since the bombs went off at the finish line of the race.

Memphis runner Angie Zinkus was there when it happened and she stopped by to tell us how she’s getting ready to go back to Boston for the marathon on Monday.
