A local golfer from Memphis is being recognized nationally.

Clay Myers got his start when he was just eight years old.

At the time he had two passions, golf and music.

He made the decision later in life to pursue golf full time and it has certainly paid off.

Clay is a former The First Tee of Memphis participant will be on this season of The Golf Channels Big Break.
