Among last night’s honorees was legendary producer and musician, Jim Dickinson. Jim played with everyone from Bob Dylan to the Rolling Stones and produced some of the most important music to come out of the Mid-South. Jim passed away 3 years ago and his now-famous epitaph, “I’m just dead, I’m not gone” rings ever true, with his addition to the Memphis Music Hall of Fame.
