The fight continues over parking on a grassy area of Overton Park known as the Greensward.
On Friday, Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland released his plan to re-configure existing property at the Memphis Zoo to add hundreds of parking spaces and permanently end parking on the Greensward.
But the Zoo plans to fight his proposal which must be approved by the Memphis City Council.
