A Memphis teacher is one of just four nationwide to be awarded the 2013 Fishman Prize for Superlative Classroom Practice.

If that sounds like a mouthful, it basically means Josalyn Tresvant has been named one of the nation’s most effective educators!

It’s an honor that comes with a $25,000 reward for her school, Knight Road Elementary.
