It’s taken months, but it looks like city leaders are moving forward with a new parking plan for the Memphis Zoo.
The Memphis City Council approved the plan that would expand the Zoo’s current parking lots by adding more than 400 new spaces.
This comes after months of mediation between the Overton Park Conservancy and the Zoo.
Once the new parking is complete, there will be no more parking on the Greensward.
