New rules are now in effect to reduce how much paperwork is involved in getting a mortgage. Instead of four forms from two different government agencies, lenders now have to give homebuyers just two forms that clearly detail the terms of their loan.
The simpler forms are expected to make it easier for borrowers to compare loans from different lenders to find the best rate and terms.
