University of Memphis graduate Ernestine Dillard has performed extensively around the world for numerous Christian events, national conventions and memorial celebrations. She’s perhaps best-known for her rousing rendition of “God Bless America” that brought the crowd to its feet at the 1995 memorial service for the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing. She’s returned to Memphis for a special concert at the Greenwood C.M.E. Church at 3311 Kimball Avenue in Memphis. It’s Sunday, May 25th at 3 p.m. A $10 donation at the door is required.
