A nine billion dollar expansion plan for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is bringing hope to an area of Downtown Memphis, still struggling since The Pyramid Arena closed a decade ago.
Just last week, the state kicked in 12 million dollars to improve the infrastructure of the Pinch District.
That’s on top of the 25 million promised by the city and county.
