Tomorrow marks a somber day in our nation’s history. On April 4th 1968, The Reverend Martin Luther King, Junior was assassinated. That day, room 306 at the Lorraine Motel here in Memphis, the room where King was killed, became an important location in the Civil Rights Movement.
