Budget talks are coming down to the wire for the Shelby County Commission.
The new fiscal year starts two weeks from Friday and the council meets Monday for a final vote.
But, will one happen?
This week, the Budget and Finance Committee sent the operating budget to the full commission without recommendation and with some matters still unsettled.
Commissioner Van Turner chairs the Budget and Finance Committee and stopped by with County Commission Chairman Terry Roland.
