A new series of studies released this week showed Alzheimer’s takes a harder toll on women than men.

The CDC said nearly two-thirds of Americans with Alzheimer’s are women.

The findings also showed a link to women who’ve had surgery.

Miriam Clay from the Alzheimer’s Association and Alzheimer’s patient, Helen Burgess stopped by to talk about the recent findings.
