The pandemic created an unprecedented situation for educators across the country last year and into 2021.
 
To help, Congress signed off on the American Rescue Plan which will send more than two billion dollars to Tennessee’s Department of Education alone.

Shelby County Schools will receive more than five hundred million dollars of that funding and one advocacy group has some suggestions for the money should be spent.
