This year marks the 20th Anniversary for the Annual Blues Ball.

It was established as a fundraising event to honor Memphis musicians and the city’s musical heritage.

The Blues Ball also benefits nonprofit organizations including St. Jude and The Stax Museum of American Soul.

This year’s event will honor the legendary soul man Sam Moore of Sam and Dave.

Sam is here with the founder of the Blues Ball, Pat Kerr Tigrett.
