Consumer Alert: Google says it will ban all ads from so-called payday lenders.
The tech giant says the short-term high-interest rate loans are deceptive and harmful.
Google’s ban starts July 13 and applies to ads for loans due within 60 days or when the interest rate is 36 percent or higher.
